Talent Tree
Description
Themed around a Death Korps Guardsman from Krieg, you will be equipped with a Munitorum Standard-Issue Sapper Shovel & Lucius Mk III Helbore Lasgun.
This weapon combination gives you the capability to deal with any enemies the Hive has to throw at you. The Helbore Lasgun is effective against all armour types, meaning even Crushers will not be an issue to take out. Just make sure you're charging your shots. Onslaught will help charge chained shots a lot faster the more you shoot.
The Helbore will deal a lot more damage than the Shovel so stay at range if possible and use the Lasgun to take down bosses. We will be leveraging critical hits with Surgical to save on Ammunition via the Shock Trooper perk in the talent tree.
The Shovel is your close quarters defence and horde clearing tool. Infested damage and Decimator are mandatory to boost its damage to a point where you won't be overwhelmed by enemies. Make sure to weave in heavy attacks and push attacks every so often to give yourself space to continue attacking without taking damage. I like Skullcrusher as a secondary Blessing personally, but Uncanny Strike is a good option as well.
