Build peril with smite

Horde clear with soul blaze vent

Shoot gun to stack blaze away and pinning fire to make soul blaze do even more damage

 

Melee problem solver to help kill heavy armour targets via rending with the combo: Special Light, Light 1, Heavy 2

Melee blocks ranged attacks and allows you to bunker up to survive onslaughts from melee enemies easier even without kentic deflection.

Cover is your friend, even with deflector, face tanking a gunner squad is a bad idea.
