Divider

Use the Grenade Gauntlet mainly for killing squishy specials with one shot. Can also be used for hordes when things get hairy. 

  • Lucky Bullet is in play so don't forget to check when you have an extra shot left so you don't accidentally reload with a nade still in your weapon.
  • You will recover 36% of your toughness if you get a critical kill with this weapon. This will stack with blast damage kills as well, meaning you could potentially recover all your toughness back if you are shooting into a horde.
  • You can one shot most Humanoid enemies as long as you hold ADS to charge up the Pinpoint Strength blessing.

 

Use Shovel's Special Heavy for Crushers, Bulwarks, and Maulers. It's capable of one shotting anything short of a Boss as long as you charge your swing fully. 

  • I personally like to make sure I always have the Shovel in Folded mode. This allows you to quickly pull it out to one tap a lesser enemy or to have it ready for when a big enemy comes by.

     

Use Bomb's Away to cover choke points or flanks. You can also use it as a sort of stun grenade to give your teammates breathing room in tight situations.


Use Loyal Protector to aggro enemies onto you to give your teammates space. 

  • Main way I use it in this build is to quickly stun and reset any attack animations enemies around me are doing. This gives you time to charge up a hefty killing blow with your Shovel's Special (on top of also giving enemies marked with 25% damage vulnerability).
  • Stunning enemies around you can be used to quickly give you a window of opportunity to shooting enemies that are firing at you from afar or threatening your teammates. 
  • Using your Ability also gives you 20% movement speed and immunity to Stuns and Suppresion thanks to Get Stuck In. You can use this to aggro the Boss into a more comfortable area for you or your teammates.
