Methhead Marbo Leveling Build
 Hive Scum Build - Warhammer 40k: Darktide 

This is my leveling build. This is a frenetic build designed to speed run malice and heresy to farm levels. You can run this basically with all greys with the exception of needing Run 'n' Gun on the Branx MkVIII Dual Stub Pistols. Alternatively, you can just use the Branx MkIII Dual Autopistols but I like the stub pistols better because they can deal with ranged specials or elites more efficiently. Infantry auto guns, and shredder auto pistols also work. If you play well the game will feed you blue and purple items and this build doesn't require you to be too picky.

 For melee I just used whatever Emperor's gift looked good, but Improvised Mk I Shivs definitely were one of my favorites because of the poison throwing knives. Tac axes, combat axes, chain swords, and combat knives stood out as good melee weapons that didn't need a lot of investment to run. For curios I just prioritized survival, but I didn't go out of my way to get anything specific. The reality is that every second you spend on your melee weapon is loss in dps, so you want to get good with your dodges 

The core skills are Voice of Tertium to Enhanced Desperado, Vulture's Mark and Vulture's Dodge so I basically try to get those as soon as possible, you can get all of those by lvl 16 then you just fill out from there. The other talents are good quality of life items, especially Pickpocket.

Mag dumping hordes is kind of a waste, you really want to get into a position to kill ranged enemies and specialists. Sometimes that does require gunning down chaff, however, it is more efficient to let someone else handle chaff while you take out elites, specialists and shooters. 

Rampage scum especially benefits from getting to blend up hordes as they can extend their rampage out to 30 sec. One of the most annoying things for them is when a desperado scum takes all their kills and their duration expires so they are in the exhaust state while there are still shooters or specialists running around. Play nice with your team, pug gaming is already a mixed bag, don't make it more miserable than it has to be for your teammates and they will hopefully return the favor.
