I've had great success with this build in high havocs especially havoc 40. I rarely ever use melee with this build. I take the shivs for mobility and the only time i ever use melee is if I'm killing non elite horde to save ammo. This build can also out-damage flame staff psykers in havoc. I play very aggressively and basically front line in havocs with the abilities chosen because with the amount of critical hits, Vulture's Dodge will have you almost unhittable, which also is helped by Tis but a Scratch and Burst of Energy . If you find yourself in a bad spot, constantly dodge and shoot at enemies and you can get back to cover. Anarchist helps tremendously with getting out of bad situations.  You also shouldn't be wanting for ammo. As long as you are killing elites with Pickpocket your ammo supply is unlimited. I took both Pick Your Targets and Focused Resolve on Enhanced Desperado because the extra rending, damage, having the ability to extend Desperado 5 seconds and having unlimited ammo for 35 seconds is a game changer. And lastly, I went with Boom Bringer as it is one of the best grenades to get you out of a bad situation. Surrounded by crushers and maulers, boom bringer can kill all of it. It can also stun monstrosities, which is also a plus.

 

If you want to change some things, you can go Chem Grenade. If you can find a way to get to Sample Collector , that is also a great skill. Only reason i didn't take it is because it takes away 3 skill tree points from other vital parts of the build which synergize well together. You can also take another toughness curio, or go 3 toughness curios. I take 1 max stamina and 1 max health curio because the max stamina synergizes with Hive City Brawler so constantly have 20% damage reduction and with the health curio you can survive a cheap explosion from a silent poxburster.

I will say that this build in order for everything to synergize to its full potential you have to front line and have faith that all of your immunity skills and talents work and synergize with the damage resistance and toughness regeneration. Constantly shoot enemies to stay alive.
