My current active Hive Scum Build, Its a melee primary with the needle pistol as a utility secondary for both movespeed and some dot stacking before getting stuck in. It should really only be used in primary mode to stack a couple of chem toxin stacks on a big enemy before getting into melee and then in secondary mode while waiting for stamina to recharge after Rampage ends.
Adrenaline Frenzy is just for getting the penance, I will be moving to Chem dependency ASAP since its just a better long-term ability provided to remember to use your chems on cooldown.
Unlike Reginald, I elected to take Barrage 1 in my stims and eat the stim cool-down increase for that extra 20% toughness DR while relying on Sample Collector to get the stim off of CD as fast as possible.
The Hotfix talent tree changes that moved Moving Target down by Vulture's Mark opened up an extra talent point and I have chosen to use that for Blessed Stims; but Long Lasting, Loose Formation, or Untouchable are also good choices here.
