Description
General strategy into just about everything is just magdumping and throwing a Blackout on occasion. The MK VI Bolt Pistol's explosion kills count towards Speedloader, Pickpocket, Sample Collector, and Blackouts, but NOT towards Voice of Tertium. 3-4 shots will generally clear trash mobs in a ~5 m radius, and 1 Blackout clears trash mobs in a ~6 m radius. Isn't the greatest at single target elite damage, but still fairly strong into a single target while it chips down surrounding elites, and the +35% Damage bonus against Staggered helps Chem Toxin eat away at tougher targets. This build's main weakness is fighting Monstrosities, your role in a boss fight is mostly going to be keeping enemies off your teammates' backs to focus the boss.
Stimm Supply can be replaced with Desperado for better elite damage and ranged immunity, but I've found that it is somewhat inefficient because the Bolt Pistols cashes in its kills all at once, completely refreshing Desperado in around 3 shots but also immediately diminishing the extension effect. Still, this build can be fairly ammo hungry even with Pickpocket, so the free magdumps afforded by Desperado are welcome.
DR-only Stim is taken because the 16% DR combined with Hive City Brawler, CD stacks, and Gang Tough gives ~51.6% DR, allowing Hive Scum to tank a Crusher overhead on Auric, assuming full health and toughness. DR uptime lasts significantly longer with Stimm Supply, by first using your cartel stimm, then dropping the Stimm Supply in the last 5 seconds of the stim's duration to make the most use of Booby Trap for Sample Collector.
Melee and Curios can be replaced with whatever you're most comfortable with, it's just what I run out of personal preference.
