Description
Hello!! Thanks for checking out Elaynai's Lay-Em-Out! This build's tree is mostly based off of haribolap1388's "Charlie Sheen", and is altered massively in equipment and a couple switched around perks + an altered stimm lab to focus more on extremely high rate of status effect application and movement rather than a primarily team supportive role. I'll go through and explain each choice and what their role in the build is,
THE MELEE:
Catachan Mk VI Combat Blade Is going to be your best friend here. The perks directly benefit your damage output across all targets, considering your extremely high crit chance. +5% crit chance to ensure you're maximizing your status effect application, +10% crit damage to ensure that the crits you land directly benefit your damage, whether they are weakspot, regular hit or otherwise. You can replace +10% crit damage with +25% carapace damage since they can be annoying to deal with. The flesh tearer blessing is integral for your status effect damage. Your crits apply 1 stack of chem toxin to enemies, and now 8 bleed stacks as well. That's 1 stack of chem and 8 bleed every crit, dealing devastating tick damage plus your rapid strikes. Little enemies stand no chance, and you'll eat away heavily at bosses and ogryns just by quick slashing at weakspots. You'll be dodging almost always considering your huge dodge distance, and so riposte will activate almost always just because of the sheer amount of enemies. This is a near constant 20% crit chance ON TOP OF your already high crit chance while stimmed. During a stimm activation with riposte active, you're looking at a whopping 60% crit chance. Combine that with the chem toxin and extremely high bleed application, you're SHREDDING the shit out of everything. Bosses suffer greatly to this, since they are easy to dodge, you have more dodges than their combos, and their weakspots are easy. You'll also be extremely fast even with mobility dumped. You can replace the Catachan Mk VI Combat Blade with Improvised Mk I Shivs and run all of the same perks and blessings, although I find the combat blade more fun for this build.
THE RANGED:
Branx MKII Needle Pistol Is gonna be what you hold while you run, and will be your anti bomber, flamer, and disabler + extra boss damage. You will not have the courtesy of pickpocket due to the greediness of the talent trees chem build, but it's alright. Except for the no ammo pickups modifier, this is negligible 95 - 100% of the time, you won't be using your ammo enough to warrant red bag pickups unless there are reapers or bosses you're afraid to get close to. Ammo tins should be plenty. Dumping damage doesn't effect the chem damage, neither do any perks, so always dump damage and forget any damage perks like carapace, unyielding, ect. The perks of sprint efficiency and +2 stamina directly improve your blessings, and in my opinion are essential. I would not recommend swapping anything about the needle pistol in that regard. Run and gun, for less spread and the ability to shoot while running around/away, and stripped down to completely avoid ranged damage. This is EXTREMELY useful, letting you reposition unharmed, as well as charge firing gunners without taking damage. Unstimmed with these perks will grant you 5 seconds of immunity while constantly running, stimmed will grant you 10 seconds. You'll get used to swapping back and fourth a lot very quickly, it becomes fun rather than annoying to micro manage. I would suggest only using the needle pistol to kill disablers, bombers, and flamers. You only need one shot to kill any of them, 2 with nurgles blessing. If you're fearing reapers, hit em with all 6. When engaging a boss, I personally pump 6 into it before attacking it as well, you'll have plenty of ammo to be able to do this.
THE BLITZ:
