Tap into the Speedforce, Expedite Judgement to All Lexbreakers
Strategically assembled with inspiration by the WHOLESOME a.a's builds, especially for Arbites. Further focused on judicious effort to curb LEXBREAKING in Expeditions for cleansing the HERETICAL LITTERING of Salvage!
This is a build forged with one priority: efficient mobility without sacrificing too much offensive and defensive ability.
Step-by-Step Guide to Breaking The Warp Barrier:
- Rapid Movement. Slide for 5% sprint speed, 5 seconds.
- Not Far Behind. Send Cyber-Mastiff after a Marked Target for 10% mobility, 5 seconds.
- March. Spray Shredder Autopistol for 15% mobility, 3 seconds.
- No Escape. Judge the Marked Elite or Speciality for 10% mobility, 4 seconds.
- Rev It Up! Activate Chainsword Special Action for 20% mobility, 2 seconds.
- ???
- LEX-IMUM OVERDRIVE!
Build Notes:
- Not Far Behind only procs on Pounces. The dog is "essential" to maximum speed and minimum interference, but not required. If you want Lone Wolf, grab Impact Nades, bless your Shredder with Pinning Fire over Henry Cavalcade, and pick up Terminus Warrant + Obstinate. Tweak the build from there to your liking with the extra talent tree points.
- Shredder's low range has some difficulty in long-range threats, ping away and keep Judging The BLOCKFODDER or close the gap faster than they can say "FOR NURG-". March does not care how far a single Autopistol round hits from, you get 15%.
- As you sprint past minor threats, they will attempt to flank you. The dog will pounce on anything behind you AUTOMATICALLY, but the two other Keystones extend it's natural range too much to be effective for this.
- Rapid Movement's side benefit is 5% stamina gain on kill, putting both shock and bleed on your dog will net small kills as it protects your flanks from constant pounces and maintain the NOS supply!
- Speaking of stamina, Break The Line is always a good pick but especially for this build. Commendation from Condemnation is great for the toughness gain but the underrated secondary effect is up to 75% stamina gain! No other class comes close to this. Out of stamina? Shove a hoard of Elites down for a huge refuel and keep the pedal on the metal!
- Part of the Squad aura keeps up a tiny toughness regeneration (in addition to Walk It Off) when inevitably your team lags behind your SPEED. With Gunner Resistance on Curios as well, you are effectively too fast to take down. Lone Wolves should take Breaking Dissent aura in exchange.
- Managing Rev It Up! uptime is a pain in the ass, especially if you swap to Shredder Autopistol for maximum sprint speed every other second.... You may substitute the Chainsword for a primary weapon of your preference:
- Tactical Axe is as mobile as the Shredder, crits into infinity, chops everything to shreds.
- Shock Mauls solve any Crusher or Bulwark walls you encounter and benefits from the crit talents in the build
- Shield and Maul solves any ranged enemy issues if you need to hold a position and also stuns any immediate threats
Tips for LEXBREAKING LITTERING in Expeditions:
- For now, DIFFICULTY DOES NOT EFFECT SALVAGE OR TECH REMNANTS REWARDS FROM MISSIONS - but hopefully they see how lame it is to grind Malice difficulty. Until then, none of this is really necessary - just have fun... But optimizing **is how I have fun** so let's rock.
- You should have plenty of time to hit up anything before going to the Gate or Evac, but Rebreather's 20% corruption resistance will massively stall out any effects of the rads if your team is getting greedy. You can grab extra 15% corruption resistance in any curio node, they stack making for nearly infinite time... for yourself. your allies will not be happy if you linger alone in the wasteland.
- Points of Interest are largely a sit-and-wait objective. However, you are only required to actually STAND THERE for about 4~ of them. You can never be stopped with this much SPEED, don't let an Auspex Wordle puzzle or Hadron's precious Servo-Skulls slow you down.
- Stay Mobile, prioritize Reapers, Bombers and other Specialists, and watch for Monstrosities... 150~200 Tech-Remnants are nice, but often slow you down too much if you aren't with allies or have Mortar Shells.
- Speaking of Monstrosities, Packmaster tip: Simply do not ping him. Your dog will keep pouncing him and his armored Poxhounds regardless of Fat Shark's warnings. He will only disable your dog if you personally send your pooch at him.
- Collecting and Spending Salvage is obviously the big Penance grind. Key word: SPENDING (Salvage Cost). The best buys after restoring your ammo (10) and health (25) are Anti-Rad Stimms (100), Air Support (150), Mortar Shell (75), and any relevant Stimms (10). I'd grab a Medicae/Ammo Crate (75) if I can for any allies to help them clutch a Gate or Evac.
- You don't *technically* need to Evac if you only care about Salvage... but the game won't fill bot roles from Quickplayers in the final round. Be kind and close out the mission with your team for people still hunting Tech-Remnants. Ping the Evac out early and most people will agree to make for a safe exit after one POI.
