Trauma === Voidblast <-- Voidblast staff was called Trauma staff in the first few years of Darktide and a lot of people still calling it Trauma
 

INTRO

This build is a viable havoc 40 proved killer and can be used to play pretty aggressively with good awareness.

You will heavily rely on the trauma staff for fighting single targets, ranged, hordes or Ogryn mobs.
Melee will only be used to get away from close combat, killing dogs / Mutants, to move faster with slides or to help on Boss fights when needed.

NOTE:

  • Always take care of the lingering effect of Scier Gaze which will give you a save time window were you cant explode your head when using warp technics while at 100% Peril
  • this effect will be a buff in red on your buff bar with a little number counting down

COMBAT

on Horde / on mixed Mobs / Ogryn mobs :

  1. shot some charged secondary Trauma staff shots until critical Peril
  2. use Scrier Gaze to get the crit bonus
  3. spam secondary charged shots of Trauma staff
    1. due to crits you will apply soul blaze a lot
    2. soul blaze dmg will get you toughness back

on heavy Ranged:

  1. start left clicking the ranged enemies on the heads with the Trauma staff 
  2. use Scrier Gaze when hit 100% Peril from left clicking 
  3. go on and spam left clicks until ranged gunners are less a threat or dead
