Introduction

This is one of my favorite Ogryn builds for Auric difficulty and below. It is surprisingly tanky, and can chunk through whatever happens to get in your way, including bosses and Daemonhosts. While this build is 'beginner-friendly', there are better builds for leveling, so I'd suggest only trying this if you are level 30 and appropriately geared.

Disclaimer: Ammo Usage/Play Nice Statement

With the Achlys Mk VII Twin-Linked Heavy Stubber at 80 Ammo and the Ammo Stash talent, you should be sitting at ~810 total rounds (139 in the magazine, 671 in reserve), and each Small Ammo pickup will refill ~100 rounds to your reserve, which is enough to keep you topped off.

That said, it's easy to get carried away, forget to use your ability, and you may be tempted to hoover up all of the ammo indiscriminately. Don't be that guy!

Instead, keep an eye on your teammates' ammo levels, and if someone else is sitting at orange/red, tag the ammo and give them a chance to top off. If they don't take it, help yourself!

Usage/Recommended Playstyle

This build is intended to play primarily in ranged and is designed for maximum trigger time. If you play smart and maximize Point-Blank Barrage usage, you can squeeze about 5 uses out of it before you run dry, which should be plenty if you're paying attention to ammo and checking boxes as you go.

You should always use your secondary action (Braced), which not only improves your accuracy and stability but also regenerates your toughness, Steady Grip, and provides damage reduction with Mobile Emplacement. Additionally, if Point-Blank Barrage is up, you'll also be replenishing toughness from Bullet Bravado.

The DoT from Light 'em Up can place up to 16 burn stacks on each target, which is especially useful for taking out more stubborn enemies like the Crusher (aim just below the chin) and the Bulwark (don't waste ammo on his shield, open him up with a stagger or shoot them from behind).
