Description
Arc Maul is definitely better, but Transonic Blades are chosen because they're fun and good at building capacitance. The faster the 1) build capacitance--> 2) use Chordclaw loop is, the more uptime you'll have on the silly bonuses. They also synergize very well with crits and can build very high damage through electrocution. However, it's highly likely that the Arc Maul is better. Arc maul has easier access to electrocution instead of relying on crits and may be a stronger overall weapon. It'll have to come down to practical testing.
Now here's the question with an answer that could genuinely be gamebreaking: do the Superiority and Deadly Frequencies blessings affect the Chordclaw? The Chordclaw is technically considered a melee weapon, and the devs may have left an oversight in the game allowing those blessings to affect it. Unlikely, but it would be really funny,
