The Omnissiah's Frontline
An Adaptive Battlefield Suppression Engine
The battlefield is not a place to survive — it is a machine to optimize.
This build rejects the conventional melee-first Skitarii philosophy entirely. Where other builds treat ranged weapons as a supplement to melee, this build inverts that relationship completely. The Vraks Mk V Infantry Autogun is your primary weapon, your identity, and your answer to nearly everything the game throws at you. The Branx Mk XI Paired Transonic Blades exist for one purpose: the moment you're forced to stop firing.
Never stop advancing. Never stop firing. Never let the enemy dictate the pace.
How It Actually Works
The gun is out 75-80% of every match. Advanced Combat Doctrines is not a cooldown you spend in a tough moment — it is your default operating state, active for over half the mission. Everything in this build is structured around sustaining that state and maximizing what it produces while it's running.
When Doctrines is active, Precision Combat Augurs auto-tags every shot as a weakspot hit. Punishing Salvo adds +50% weakspot damage on shots 2, 3, and 4 of every burst. Dumdum stacks close range damage up to 5 times as you maintain fire. Your Ranged Weakspot perk multiplies on top of all of it. Sureshot Cogitator Sync adds another flat bonus underneath. These are not additive bonuses — they compound simultaneously, meaning the real damage output is significantly higher than any single stat suggests.
Ammo — The Foundation Of The Build
Sustained ranged fire only works if the gun stays loaded. Three independent systems make sure it does. Gunsmith passively refills your magazine during any lull in firing. Ammunition Restoration Pod slowly rebuilds your reserve over time. Ammo Cell Augury gives you a larger pool to start with — 576 rounds at a high roll. In practice, teammates in public matches will hand you ammo pickups unprompted because they can see you never swap off the gun. You will not run dry.
The Blades — A Precision Emergency Tool
The Branx Mk XI Paired Transonic Blades are not an afterthought. They are a deliberately engineered response to the specific threats most likely to breach your ranged perimeter. Unyielding enemies — Plague Ogryn, Beast of Nurgle — and Maniacs — Scab Rager, Mutant, Dreg Tox Flamer, Scab Trapper — are exactly the enemies that will get in your face on reloads or ammo swaps. The blades are perked specifically for both types. Rampage gives +18% damage on hitting 3 or more enemies. Savage Sweep gives +150% cleave on the same trigger. Pull them out, clear the breach, get back on the gun.
Survivability — Built Into The Loop
Threat Detection Imperative grants stacking toughness damage resistance on every ranged kill. Since ranged kills are constant, the resistance is constant. You are not surviving by staying back — you are surviving because killing things at the front is itself the defensive mechanic. Two toughness curios with fast regeneration keep the buffer refilling between engagements. A high health pool curio catches anything that breaks through. On Damnation and above, the goal is to never go down — not to survive going down. This setup is built around that philosophy.
What You Are For The Team
You are the frontliner. You push forward and delete whatever is in front of the group before it reaches them. You are not a support build. Your team contribution is measured in enemies that never become problems.
In short: Doctrines up, push forward, aim the neck seam, let six damage sources stack at once, blades on reload. That's the loop. The build handles the rest.
