The Omnissiah's Frontline
An Adaptive Battlefield Suppression Engine
The battlefield is not a place to survive—it is a machine to optimize.
This build rejects the conventional melee-first philosophy. Instead, it turns the Skitarii into a relentless ranged assault platform whose offensive momentum sustains its own defenses. Advanced Combat Doctrines, capacitance regeneration, weakspot acquisition, toughness recovery, and sustained suppressive fire all feed into a single continuous combat loop.
The objective is simple:
Never stop advancing. Never stop firing. Never allow the enemy to dictate the pace of the engagement.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Most players use their gun as a backup and their melee as the main tool. This build flips that completely. You are a walking gun platform. The Vraks Mk V Infantry Autogun is out 75-80% of the entire match, and you are actively pushing forward while firing — not hiding behind cover, not waiting for enemies to come to you. You are the one taking the fight to them.
Your Core Loop
When your Advanced Combat Doctrines ability is active, pop it and push forward. Everything in front of you dies. The Vraks Mk V Infantry Autogun fires in Full Auto Torrent, and the key to making it hit hard is aiming at the upper neck/lower helmet area on enemies — this catches the edge of the head hitbox and triggers weakspot damage, which stacks with multiple damage bonuses all firing simultaneously. Your Punishing Salvo blessing adds +50% weakspot damage on shots 2, 3, and 4 of every burst. Your Dumdum blessing stacks a close range damage bonus up to 5 times as you keep firing. Your Precision Combat Augurs ability auto-tags shots as weakspot hits. All of these bonuses multiply off each other at the same time, meaning your damage output is far higher than it looks on paper.
You are not a burst-and-hide shooter. You maintain sustained fire and keep moving forward.
Your Melee Weapon — The Emergency Tool
The Branx Mk XI Paired Transonic Blades are not your primary weapon. Think of them as a tool you pull out in two specific situations: when you are reloading, and when you run low on ammo. The blades are specifically spec'd with perks for Unyielding enemies (Plague Ogryn, Beast of Nurgle and Maniacs (Scab Rager, Mutant, Dreg Tox Flamer, Scab Trapper) — exactly the enemies most likely to get in your face and force a melee situation. Rampage! gives you +18% damage when you hit 3 or more enemies with a swing. Savage Sweep gives you massive cleave on those same hits, letting you cut through groups. The blades are not weak — they are a precisely engineered emergency response tool for the exact threats that would breach your ranged perimeter.
Ammo — You Will Never Run Dry
New players worry about ammo on autogun builds. This build has three separate systems keeping you supplied. Gunsmith passively tops off your magazine during lulls in firing. Ammunition-Restoration Pod slowly refills your reserve over time. Ammo-Cell Augury gives you a larger ammo pool to begin with. Your teammates will also naturally hand you ammo pickups because they can see you never leave your gun — this happens consistently in public matches.
What You Are Doing For The Team
You are the frontliner. You push forward and clear the path. Threat Detection Imperative gives you toughness damage resistance every time you get a ranged kill, which is constant, meaning you are naturally tanky just by doing your job. You are not a support build — you contribute to the team simply by deleting everything in front of the group before it becomes a problem.
The One Thing To Practice
Aim slightly lower than the top of enemy helmets — the seam between the helmet and the collar. This catches the bottom edge of the head hitbox and triggers weakspot damage while avoiding the heaviest armor penalties on enemies like the Scab Mauler. Once this becomes muscle memory, your kill times on every enemy type will feel dramatically faster.
In Short: Hold trigger, push forward, aim at necks, let the numbers stack, switch to blades on reload. That's it. The build does the rest.
