DISCLAIMER -

This is the first build I have crafted alone and uploaded, so there is likely much room for optimization and will be updated as such. :)

General description and strengths-

This build is designed to mow down mixed elite hoards with ease using Advanced Combat Doctrines and fast firing auto-weapons such as the Vraks Mk V Infantry Autogun and Ius Mk IV Shredder Autopistol, ideally in medium to close range to proc blessings such as Dumdum and Deathspitter. The Catachan Mk III Combat Blade was taken for it's mobility natural crit/weakspot damage potential, that has synergy with Flux Conduit Build-Up and Reactor Coil Recharge to build capacitance when not shooting. Slip in and out of combat with the build and when a large mixed hoard appears toggle to ability to quickly mow them all down. This build is really good against unarmored threats and most flak enemies.

Weaknesses -

First and foremost this build is ammo hungry, I haven't attempted it in havoc due to this weakness. This build also struggles into carapace, nodes like Capacitory Limit Override and Foe-Render Creed help, but do not negate this weakness. Huge packs of crushers, maulers, scab ragers, etc will either outright kill you if played incorrectly or waste a ton of ammo. If your team does not rely on ammo as heavily you can feel free to blast into flak armored enemies. This build is also prone to being overwhelmed in close range, you want to play just close enough you can blow up a hoard for your team if needed, but not so close that you get swarmed.

Boss damage can also be lack luster, you can more than contribute however I would not waste a huge amount of ammo if you do not have too. Really the Advanced Combat Doctrines pails in comparison to Chordclaw Strike. So don't expect to chunk things down like it. You could take +25% damage to unyielding enemies on your secondary if you really wanted to, but I would leave the bossing to others and focus on controlling the enemies around them.

Explanation of certain choice and alternative options-

Generally speaking Redline Capacitors felt slightly better to play with than Power Overload. Both keystones when invested with Resource Optimisation Canticles or Static Capacitor Drain respectively, yield the same 25% capacitance generation. Ultimately I have chosen redline capacitors for access to the rending on the node and ease of access to the Artificer Servo-Skull. The upgraded servo skull is not necessary but did feel good for helping control disables that get a little too close.

If you choose to take the upgraded servo skull you could swap a node such as Galvanized Coating for the Medicae Servo-Skull or Purgator Servo-Skull, the latter which could help in a situation where you get overwhelmed or in a large hoard of armor. Generally the value from galvanized coating I saw more value in but further testing is required.

If the team support of Power Overload is more enticing to you I would drop all the nodes from Sequenced Charge beyond and take Superior Defence Engrams , Hybrid Combat Covenant , Power Overload, Static Capacitor Drain, and Powerdrive. This leaves you with one node to spend I take Integrated Refraction Emitter as I tend to not remember to activate the servo skull, and I feel it provides more value than nodes such as Augmented Power-Cycle or Restoration Protocol

Finally you can swap Foe-Render Creed for Ammunition Deposit, generally the ammo efficiency of rending felt better than 10% ammo reserve but this is purely anecdote.

Things I am going to test in the future-

The melee right now has really just been preference as mentioned earlier the Catachan Mk III Combat Blade works well, and you can take Flesh Tearer in place of Precognition to help deal with hoards of chaff. Weapons such as the Branx Mk XI Paired Transonic Blades also have a case for fitting naturally with this, however you lose the mobility. The Agni Mk Ia Shock Maul also has a case for being used for it's general effectiveness, and could potentially be paired with a node like Critical Chance Boost and the blessing High Voltage

As mentioned previously I will be testing the Purgator Servo-Skull and Noospheric Command. Noospheric command at first glance may seem anti synergistic but from other builds I have used it on it generates a shocking amount of value.

Finally weapons such as the braced auto-gun  in theory should work well, I have just yet to try them. I assume the combination of Fire Frenzyand Deathspitter would be ideal.

Final notes

I don't think that Advanced Combat Doctrines and builds around it are the meta by any stretch of the imagination, however it is really fun to spray down huge hoards of enemies. The targeting can be kinda jank especially with weapons that are braced and do not have a sight. I hope you enjoy this build and the power fantasy behind it. I have been running it in Auric Maelstroms no problem. Enjoy!
