Average Bus Interchange Loiterer
The main idea behind this build is that you attack so fast with the Atrox Mk VII Tactical Axe that you'll sustain your Rampage! for ages if you just keep hitting enemies (this absolutely demolishes packs of ragers). Just keep spamming light attacks and crab/side-dodge around packs of enemies, you'll be impossible to hit and you'll spread chem toxin everywhere with Splash Damage . Take Adrenaline Frenzy for even more attack speed. This is probably the most unga-bunga build I've played.
- Like all melee Hive Scum builds, this build rewards exploitation of Darktide's movement system - duck, dip, dodge & dive as much as you're able.
- We're crit-maxxing here. Crits keep your toughness up through Precision Violence , increase your melee damage through Channelled Devastation , spread chem toxin with Coated Weaponry , and gets you to Adrenaline Frenzy faster. Make sure you're constantly dodging to proc Float Like a Butterfly to keep that crit chance up; we also take Anarchist and a +5% melee crit chance refinement to our Atrox Mk VII Tactical Axe .
- Alternate Rampage! and your stimm for max damage potential.
- Forge's Bellow & Boom Bringer give you additional CC for oh-shit moments.
- If you're getting pinned down by enemy gunfire, switch to your Branx MkVI Needle Pistol and sprint around, Stripped Down keeps you invulnerable to ranged fire until you're safe or you're close enough to engage.
- Otherwise use your pistol to soften up armoured targets or snipe squishy elites like Scab Sniper s or Scab Trapper s.
