Talent Tree
Stimm Lab
Description
Information
Talent tree
- Blitzes are interchangeable.
- Nimble is interchangeable with Forge's Bellow, Jittery or Pickpocket.
- A Tertium Welcome is a decent boost for your single target damage, you can swap it but don't do it unless you strictly need that talent point.
- You can max stimms, just make sure you're paying attention to not to drop Chemical Dependency stacks.
- If you're struggling with armor, running Fury II instead of Wildfire V is an option.
Gear
- Atrox Mk VII Tactical Axe blessings are really important. Don't swap them.
- Branx MkVI Needle Pistol blessings don't affect Tox damage, but perks do. Stay in green mode.
- Damage against Flak and/or Maniacs makes for an easier time sniping.
- Damage against Unyielding is useful for dealing with Monstrosities, as well as Reapers.
- Damage against Carapace helps with Atrox Mk VII Tactical Axe's lower Carapace damage.
- You can swap the Health curio for another Stamina curio if desired. 3 stamina curios are usually overkill.
Tactical Axe (Mk7) Combos
Cleaving combos
- Heavy > Light > (Light)
- Push Attack > Heavy > (Light) > (Light)
Single target combos
- Light > Heavy > Push Attack or Light
- Push Attack > Light > Heavy > (Light)
Parenthesis for optional attacks.
If you want to understand the combo system intuitively, there are 3 simple principles:
- Starting your combo with a Heavy Attack or following Push Attack with a Heavy Attack allows for cleaving combos. Follow this with a Light Attack, then optionally another Light Attack.
- Starting your combo with a Light Attack or following Push Attack with a Light Attack allows for single target combos. Follow this with a Heavy Attack then optionally a Light Attack.
- Push attack can be used to loop and/or reset your combos.
