Description
Knife
The knife is fast, good with crits, and can hit hard. There's not much to say other than that its a knife. To deal with Crushers, Armor, and Monstrosities your mostly gonna be using bleed stacks. Just hit the body 4 times and your all good. For captains use your punch ability instead to get all 16 stacks of bleed on. We are also using Lacerate and not Flesh Tearer for better consistency, and Riposte for a higher crit chance. Bleed also synergies with Analysis Doctrine very well.
Phosphor Pistol
Phosphor Pistol is gonna be used like a normal pistol, and for large crowds of elites/specials. We are using its ability to penetrate armor to our advantage. If you see a large dense amounts of ragers, or armor start blasting into it, this will apply brittleness and deal good damage to almost all the heretics. For blessing Opening Salvo is a very slept on. With the fact you can get a free 20% strength buff if you fire slow enough between shots, which in this case is about 0.5 seconds. According to uptime its about 75% of the time available in a havoc 40. The second blessing you can do whatever, the best one is probably Crucian Roulette for extra crits but I like Showstopper quite a because it helps with the dense elite/special crowds your shooting into and staggering nearby gunners when shooting at them.
Curios
Curios your gonna run Triple Revive Speed, this is mandatory since even though you are running Medicae Servo Skull being able to revive faster is always a good thing to have. Triple Combat Ability Regen is for faster Voltaic Emitters, and since our ability is a crucial part of our DPS, it just much us far more stronger. For the Triple Toughness Regen Speed you can probably swap one out for a Gunner Resistance, but the reason we are taking this is because of our aura Resurgence giving us much better passive toughness regen. Where the Toughness Regen Speed Curios makes that effect much faster, making us more bulkier.
Voltaic Emitter
Voltaic Emitter is gonna be used as an offensive veteran shout, and almost always at one charge. It will apply brittleness to any armored enemies, making it good when going into a mix of Crushers and Maulers. It will also apply the Electrocuted effect onto anything it hits, giving us 20% more damage to enemies because of Weakness Analysis Doctrine and Retribution Conduit. Voltaic Arcs is used for extra damage when you use it, and Voltaic Overcharge is good for topping out your toughness and staying it the fight.
Resurgence
Already talked about this in the Curios section, but for an overview we are running this for better passive toughness regen, and for the +25 toughness buff that makes us tankier. If you want numbers there are plenty of videos about this aura already.
Servo Skull
Servo skull is really damn good, the ability to point at something and kill them is broken. Your gonna use this as a side range damage source, where if there is a bomber, you can just tag it and kill it. The Medicae Servo Skull is gonna be used as a get out of jail free card for teammates in a bad situation. Otherwise try to use your revive speed and get someone if they are in an easy revive spot. The Artificer Servo Skull is there to be the servo skull I described earlier, the tag and kill. But also to debuff bosses and any hard to kill enemies.
Power Overloader
Power Overloader is also slept on, its uptime in almost nearly 100%, and it gives buffs that are not to scoff at. We're gonna take Static Capacitor Drain for a total of +30% damage, +35% toughness damage reduction, and +25% capacitance generation. Which the extra damage and TDR I don't need to explain, but the capacitance generation being useful for more servo skull targeting and Voltaic Emitters. We're also gonna take Invigorating Overload, this one you can mabye swap out for another node, but I find the extra stamina is a huge help to stay in the fight, with the extra toughness regen being a bonus. Critical Power Overload is pretty much a mini Voltaic Emitter, and all it does is give us even more damage.
Swappable Nodes
In no order, here are nodes you can swap out in this build for something else
- Uncapped Arrestor
- Sustained Assault Docterine
- Medicea Servo Skull
- Invigorating Overload
- Channeled Motive Force for Sequenced Charge
