I tried to keep this build simple, and it works reasonably well with any melee weapon. It’s not perfect, but if for some reason you’re bored with the Zealot, why not try playing a melee Veteran? The skill tree I chose aims not only to maximize damage but also to ensure your survivability. Have fun !
