Description
Hi folks, M4ya-3 here, I enjoy running around like a crackhead and multitasking as much as inhumanly possible.
The base of this build is stacking generic damage modifiers to amplify the damage of our Combat Knife, Phosfor Pistol, Bleeds, Burns and Servo Skull Lasgun.
Your main weakness is hordes of smaller enemies. The Phosfor Pistol has cleave but only in a line. We trade off horde clear for a ton of damage to elites, specialists and bosses.
Uncanny Strike on the Combat Blade lets us stack up to 40% Brittleness with an extra 15% from the Phosfor Pistol's unique debuff. (55% Brittleness Total) This amps your teams damage to bosses and tough armoured enemies a ton. Since a lot of our damage is passive once stacked up, (15 Burns, 16 Bleeds) we can focus on saving teammates, picking off distant specials and just generally ripping and tearing until it is done.
For melee, thanks to the Electro-Strike Conduit talent and stacking attack speed and crit chance, we can lock down and cut into bleeding ribbons basically anything that moves into melee range. The Electrocute from the talent is a unique debuff that stuns anything that isnt a boss for 2-4 second (depends on enemy class) anytime you crit something. This also interrupt any attacks in progress, such as overheads or rager combos.
This is a very Hybrid build so our Phosfor Pistol puts in a ton of work. Man-Stopper is an incredible addition to its blessings since it allows you to INFINITELY PIERCE through anything that isn't Carapace. This lets you shoot into lines of elites or snipe a distant specialist through a horde. I use Infernus cause DoTs are fun, but there are other viable combos such as Surgical or Crucian Roulette . The Gunsmith talent makes sure you always have ammo ready to go. The swap speed on the Phosfor Pistol is very fast so pulling it out quickly to snipe a distant enemy or apply its debuff to an armoured enemy in melee range is easy with minimal downtime.
All of our Capacitance is spent to spam Noospheric Command by pinging higher tier enemies so we dont take an active skill at all to spend points elsewhere. You do still have access to the base Skitaari ability which is okay, but i dont like using it since it eats all of your Capacitance (Highly reccommend the Dog Whistle mod to automate putting companion tags on enemies if you dont want to break your fingers)
This command ability is by far my favourite part of the Skitaari kit. If you ping a specialist or unarmoured elite, the skull can kill them by itself because of all our generic damage bonuses and itself applies a 15% damage vulnerability to enemies it burns with its shots. You do not have to keep looking at the enemy its shooting after pinging it, just need to maintain line of sight.
While this is a very damage focused build Skitari does bring some utility to the table. Being able to remotely complete data interrogations and pick up a downed, disabled or captured teammate from a distance is insanely helpful.
For the Skill Tree, we start on the left side of the tree grabbing crit nodes, Noosperic Command and Medicae Skull, then dip into the topside tree to grab Stun Immunity and some damage boosts, pass through the right side for some great Phosfor Pistol QoL and ammo regen and finally go down to Flensing Protocols grabbing a few melee nodes along the way.
(This version is what i ran in havoc though i am not at havoc 40 so i cant test there. There is one skill point i would swap for Aurics and that is using Hydraulic Impact instead of Adaptive Combat Engram. The extra damage resistance on toughness break is very clutch in Havoc, where ou dont have the toughness grace period)
Anyway i hope some of my ADHD brethren have fun with this little minmaxing project.
I'll see you starside,
M4ya-3 out.
