Why is no one taking out the damn gunners! Can someone help the team please and deal with those pesky flies!
OK it's an amazing feeling when someone is impressed you just swatted all the gunners like flies in 2 reloads and few seconds. Means everyone else can focus on horder and close range.
Pity when it comes to bosses you won't be able to do much :D
Curios
Toughness will always recover. But Health doesn't. Hence went for Max Health on Curios and fast Toughness regen to get back into the fight to maintain DPS for team support.
Stacked Gunner damage reduction combined with Unwavering Focus means you can pop out to tank a few shots from gunners whilst exposed. Not many snipers 3-4 per mission so felt wouldn't be beneficial during majority of time to have reduced sniper damage. At Damnation level with these Health perks stacked snipers can only hit you for 50% health damage, not one shot.
Then small Toughness increases on blessings.
Talents
Bio Optic and Counterfire - Best for helping team. You're sitting behind them, help them identify danger.
Confirmed kill and Unwavering Focus - Lets you tank a few shots from gunner when you peek to take them down to help the team
Tactical Reload, One after another and also the weapons reload perk = Super fast reload to maintain DPS uptime in the fight for support against gunners.
Headhunter gun
I still can't make up my mind between my favourite 2 Vraks headhunter guns.
Vraks Mk VII does have best single tap fire per bullet damage semi auto and magazine size 36. If you're good with headshots, this big magazine you can really maintain your volley fire refresh for a long time. Have to snap head to head target.
Vraks Mk III for 3 round burst if less confident with headshots. Literally all three shots land at distance without any recoil and very little sway at all for great follow up shots. Very small magazine of 23, but that's where all the reload perks and talents above come in to compensate. However the reload time isn't enough if you're snapping target to target and such a small magazine you'll be reloading alot. More difficult to maintain volley fire refresh compared to Vraks Mk VII if you're good at snapping head to head. If 1st burst shot didn't do the job and missed 1 of 2 shots of the 3 round burst, the 2nd burst will definitely against gunners.
Why is it still good for headshots. If you aim at gunner's chins the small recoil pushes the 2nd and 3rd shots of burst towards their heads :) more chances to hit the head, if you aim at top of the head, other shots will just go over. Sometimes you have no choice if they're behind cover and can only hit the top of head. It is also extremely ammo efficient gun, you don't need to hog ammo like the braced autogun players. Try not to waste ammo on small hordes or distance melee enemies.
Melee
Charge sword → Start swing animation delay → Move forward when sword animation swing about to finish to make contact → Move back to avoid enemy counter. Safe way of sword attacking.
