I named my Veteran “Ciaphus” because who doesn't love a good Cain book?
When the commissar hat popped up in the shop I had to make him as Cain as possible.

Lasgun and chainsword only, well grenades too, gotta make up for not having Jurgen and his melta somehow.

 

The Scripture relic actually has extra defence against bombers but they aren't in the list for some reason. Otherwise it's mostly buffs against the enemies I find most problematic, little bit of extra cash for Hadron and getting allies up so the blasted poxxers go after them instead of me.

As far as effectiveness goes I'm not sure if it's bad or if I'm just meh at the game LOL.

 

  • I took “At Arm's Length” because the name alone sounds so Cain-y.
  • I've taken “Demolition Stockpile” to help compensate for the lack of Jurgen's meltagun (and because I can't shoot a grox in a heard),
  • “Covering Fire” because if other people die who is going to get in-between me and the frakkers trying to kill me!?
  • “Camo Expert” well of course I'm going to do my best to not be seen or targeted, that'd put MY life on the line!
  • “Frag Storm” makes my 'nades do more damage which makes them even more meltagun-y
  • “The Bigger they Are” - Cain fought A LOT of 'Nids and going for the big guy first is the best strategy there so this just feels fitting.
