Fast vet build when you need to be a well rounded front-liner capable of dealing with almost any situation and clutching revives when allies are all down. Currently... this is mostly just a bad Zealot in disguise with the bonus of having Krak Grenades and Brittleness.

Combat Blade for Boss and elite killing power
Perks:

  • Elite - More damage to high life enemies including Ogryn/Crushers. Unyielding is a great option to kill Monsters if needed and Flak is another good option.
  • Maniac/Crit Chance - Heavy 1 will one shot head shot all maniacs except for Ragers and mutants, Unarmored is a fine alternative for better horde clear.

Blessings:

  • Flesh Tear - Incredibly solid blessing Lacerate is more consitent but forces you to avoid WP attacks. With Desperado and Reciprocity you will have a fantastic crit chance
  • Lacerate - Help get very high bleed very quickly. With Onslaught fix and Exploit weakness we already remove most armor. Backstab is good for quick one shot kills without having to build Brittleness

Inf Autogun or Revolver.
Perks:

  • Flak - Common enemy type you will need to deal with
  • Maniac - helps to kill almost all specials and weapon mutants on their way in.

Blessings:

  • Stripped Down - Half the reason to run braced autoguns, makes you immune to ranged (including sniper shots) while sprinting, allowing you to engage without losing any life or toughness. Can be replaced by Speedload or Deathspitter
  • FireFrenzy- Best option that gives damage anymore. Can be replaced with your choice of utility blessings.Close range damage is max at 8m, and falls gradually the further you are away from them. Deals the same damage as Deathspitter at 11m, less after.
  • DumDum on Inf Autoguns is great, not actually gated by range for building stacks, and doesn't reset when you change targets.

You get all the grenade regen talents as your armor killing power is decent specially with Exploit Weakness. Onslaught only Procs on Ranged attacks now, while we do have good ranged weapons for it, Exploit weakness and Krak grenades are generally enough. Exploit weakness basically entirely reverts the bleed changes to unyielding and brings the damage back to .95.

Also remember Out For Blood gives toughness on any kill including ranged grenades and even bleed.
Both Close Quarters Kill Zone and Surprise Attack improve bleed damage.

Weapon Specialist will make us even more mobile, and better suited for our hybrid death dealing. On your Toes is a fine addition, not a huge fan of the modifiers in general though.
The Crit portion for ranged Weapon Specialist only applies to the FIRST shot made. So anything with consecutive crits (Autoguns), very effective crits like Flechette Shotguns, or Revolvers are the best options, and large single shots like Plasmagun. Always Prepared is a good upgrade if you are running weapons with lower mag totals like Revolver and Shotguns.

Also can get Iron will instead of some stamina/move speed or grenade talents
OR
Duck and Dive + Stripped down = Infinite stamina while being shot at, which in turn makes you invulnerable to said ranged attacks. run around for all of eternity at max stamina and just laugh in the face of those horrible ranged enemies. Sprint cost reduction from curio's is plenty, though you can run an extra stam curio as well if you really want. Not super necessary with invis and all the speed we have.
