Talent Tree
Description
the Trusty Shovel solid weapon with good defensive stats and decent finesse
Perks:
- Elite - More damage to high life enemies including Ogryn/Crushers. Unyielding is a great option to kill Monsters if needed and Flak is another good option.
- Insert favorite unit type here
Blessings:
- Uncanny - one of the strongest blessings in the game, and definitely among the best for this praticular weapon.
- Decimate - helps to stack some power in melee which the vet otherwise doesn't do well.
Double Barrel Shotgun
Perks:
- Flak - Common enemy type you will need to deal with
- Maniac - helps to kill almost all specials and weapon mutants on their way in.
Blessings:
- Run 'n Gun - Primary part of this blessing is reduced reticle size, particularly when using the secondary fire it makes a huge difference. Scatter Shot is a good alternate as is Both Barrels.
- Man Stopper - infinite cleave on crits, and Specialist will give us free crits every few melee kills. Just make sure to avoid hitting carapace armor (like Rager chest plates)
We go heavy into Krak Grenades as our Carapace/Bulwark/Monstrosity damage is quite lacking. If you are confident in your teams ability to cover your weaknesses, Shredder grenades are stronger generally and free up points. You can also go for Fully Loaded instead of Grenedier and Tinkerer, and add Always Prepared on top if you take Shredders
