Talents

Description

Crushers, Bulwarks and Maulers, use Voidstrike, the damage is insane and you don't need any buffs to manage this, the extra damage to carapace on the staff means you can 2 tap crushers on a full charge on Auric Maelstrom.

 

Everything else, including Scab Ragers, Throw Assail, focus on gunners/shotgunners as they spawn in large groups on anything Auric. This way as you're throwing 3-4 Assail to kill the group, each kill is giving 1 Empowered Psionics, essentially giving you a free Assail to throw with no ammo or peril used, ontop of this you're getting charges back every 2.5 seconds and every 10 kills you're quelling peril, this gets nasty as you can sometimes get on streaks of 20+ Assails thrown without having to Quell peril or wait for Assails to come back, as long as there are elites, you can throw Assails with alot of consistency, however you must keep throwing Assails in this scenario, as you can only hold 3 stacks of Empowered Psionics, if you're getting kills and you have 3 stacks, you're wasting potential stacks, throwing additional does no harm as Assail can happily clear a horde, maybe throw some towards your Zealot and help them build fury stacks.

 

Stop throwing Assail when you can hear/see a Demonhost, even if you're throwing them in the other direction they can easily ricochet and set it off.

 

Deflector + Block efficiency will help you get out of some harsh spots if you're being pinned down, use the charge on Illisi when you have time as the warp kills will help with toughness regen.

 

More elites killed = more stacks of empowered psionics = more assail = more damage output <--- this cycle repeats, this build really ramps in power if there is enough elites nearby to sustain empowered psionics.

 

This build isn't as effective as of the assail updates but is still viable enough
