My rough build for a sniper-esque build for the Veteran class!

Most of the perks such as "Leave No One Behind" or "Field Improvisation" are there for a general quality of life and support since this build is mainly centered around staying on the blacklines of combat, picking off elites and specialists with Executioner's Stance as much as possible.

Additionally, I opted to pick up the grenade oriented perks wherever I could so the build also has some crowd-clearing potential.

My choice of gun was the Helbore Mk III lasgun, mainly because of the charge mechanic and rough vibe it has. After patch #13 the gun does amazing damage and it's going to two-shot the ogryn esq (Bulwarks and what not, I forgot their name) pretty effectively, save for the crushers who'll take a few more shots.

For the melee weapon I chose the Mk III P-Sword primarily because of the horizontal strong attack. It feels the best for clearing crowds in melee range in my opinion. This is mainly a thing of preference, though.

26/10/2023 edit:

  • Small edit to the build to better accomodate some changes I've made over time as I got to practice with it and tinker around, removed "Leave No One Behind" in favor of getting Determined, though you can still get it if you sacrifice a perk like "Grenade Tinkerer" and the node before it.
  • I'm working on a new, "alternate" version of this build that's going to use Infiltrate instead of Executioner's Stance! Mainly to fuel my addiction to playing a full stealth sniper instead of just a sniper...
  • I've been toying around with the idea of using the Catachan MK IV "Devil's Claw" Sword but I chose not to edit it into this build, instead I'll leave the perks and blessings I am using/working towards using on mine: (I'll probably have it put on the infiltrate version of this build instead of the Munitorum Mk III Power Sword)
  • - +10-25% damage (Carapace/Flak Armored Enemies)
  • - +10-25% damage (Unyielding Enemies)
  • - Savage Sweep
  • - Rampage
