Useful build for any Autogun, works well for Boltgun as well.

Headhunter  VII (or III)- Great for boss, elite and special killing. Can be replaced with Infantry Autogun

Perks

  • Flak - most of our ranged and melee elites can be replaced by Elite or Unyielding for monster damage if needed. Stamina is also quite good with Deadshot + Tunnel Vision.
  • Maniac - for killing Specials.

Blessings:

  • Headhunter/Surgical - Fitting blessing, due to the 3 consecutive crits on headhunter on the III, or go Surgical for VII
  • Opening Salvo - Gives similar damage even on headshots when compared with Deadly Accurate, and and resets insanely fast - making it more consistent and less prone to massive overkill than Deadly Accurate.

Alternate:

Inf Autoguns (MK I is my favorite)
perks:

  • Flak - no real special breakpoints as these weapons shoot very fast, allows for faster kill time. Crit is a good alternate
  • Maniac - no real special breakpoints as these weapons shoot very fast, allows for faster kill time.

Blessings:

  • DumDum - Self buff that isn't actually ranged based despite the tool tip, and refreshes even if you change targets making this very strong. Does gradually less damage the further you are from enemies.
  • Sustained Fire - Reasonably reliable damage skill, resets nearly instantly when you stop shooting. Deathspitter and Fire Frenzy are fine. Fire Frenzy does more up to 18m~ and Deathspitter does more to targets beyond 18m

Sapper Shovel III - Great option for anti armor/elite and special killing, any anti carapace weapon will fit here.

Perks:

  • Elite - Allows for heavy Special oneshots on crushers, and generally killing melee elites.
  • Maniac - Allows for your first tick of damage to kill mutants so they can't grab you. Flak or Carapace are fine alternatives.

Blessings:

  • Thrust - a big part of this build, since we have a special and want to make use of it. Allows for Crusher one shot head shots, and Mutant one shot bodyshots on the first tick.
  • Skull Crusher (or Headtaker/decimator) - we need maximum damage so we are always hitting one shot headshot breakpoints for push attack on mobs, and kill dreg and scab melee units in a single light.

Deadshot incredibly strong with Inf and Vigilant autoguns due to their massive finesse bonus. Crit body shots will one shot almost any special or ranged elite in the game.

Tunnel Vision will regenerate your stamina when using Deadshot. Having 2 Stam curio lets you really abuse this. and Rending Strikes is a huge boost to damage for a lot of armor types with Autoguns.

Long Range Assassin vs Camo I feel this is mostly preference - since I don't care to keep stacks up between fights I find Camo is good at passively getting stacks, and lets me build them vs bosses.
Big breakpoint for Long Range Assassin is crit one shot body shots on Flamers without Exe Stance.

Exhilarating Takedown is really good but Out for Blood is more consistent, and gives you more swap speed while Long Shot is meh at best just keeping you from losing a few breakpoints at really long ranges.
