Useful build for any Autogun - or the Laspistol. The theoretical DPS of this build is very high, the problem is the reliance on Marksman Focus stacks, which are typically gone when you need them the most which is a real issue.

Headhunter  VII -  Can be replaced with Infantry Autogun MK1

Perks

  • Stamina - We really rely on Crits and/or headshots with this gun (you NEED them to do damage) so more Deadshot = more winning. Crit Chance Unyielding and Elite are all fine
  • Maniac - for killing Specials and reaching flamer one shot body shot (on crit) breakpoint.

Blessings:

  • Headhunter/Surgical - Fitting blessing, due to the 3 consecutive crits on headhunter on the III, or go Surgical for VII
  • Opening Salvo - Gives similar damage even on headshots when compared with Deadly Accurate, and and resets insanely fast - making it more consistent and less prone to massive overkill than Deadly Accurate.

Alternate:

Inf Autoguns (MK I is my favorite)
perks:

  • Crit Chance - no real special breakpoints as these weapons shoot very fast, but Crits/headshots are necessary for this gun to deal damage. Flak/Elite are fine
  • Maniac - no real special breakpoints as these weapons shoot very fast, allows for faster kill time.

Blessings:

  • DumDum - Self buff that isn't actually ranged based despite the tool tip, and refreshes even if you change targets making this very strong. Does gradually less damage the further you are from enemies.
  • Sustained Fire - Reasonably reliable damage skill, resets nearly instantly when you stop shooting. Deathspitter and Fire Frenzy are fine. Fire Frenzy does more up to 18m~ and Deathspitter does more to targets beyond 18m

PowerSword - Great option for anti armor/elite and special killing, any anti carapace weapon will fit here. You don't generally need Cleave Targets on the Vistat as we will be running Brutal Momentum the Mk III is better for using Surge into elite hordes.

Perks:

  • Elite - helps to clear hordes of ragers
  • Carapace - Gets you close to a one shot head shot on push attacks - this can be replaced by Flak, or Unyielding

Blessings:

  • Power Cycler - the blessing tax you must pay to use power swords.
  • Brutal Momentum -  allows for light attacks to kill up to 6 enemies doing full damage to each which is brutal on the MK VI. Slaughterer is a fine option that is better vs single targets but I find generally not worth it.

Exe Stance main priority is at the beginning of combat when you have no stacks, and will struggle to hit critical breakpoints.

Deadshot incredibly strong with Inf and Vigilant autoguns due to their massive finesse bonus. Crit body shots will one shot almost any special or ranged elite in the game.

Tunnel Vision will regenerate your stamina when using Deadshot. Having 2 Stam curio lets you really abuse this. and Rending Strikes is a huge boost to damage for a lot of armor types with Autoguns as is Chink in their Armor.

Long Range Assassin vs Camo I feel this is mostly preference - Camo is better for building stacks (it will build stacks as soon as you stop moving, or if you slide) and Long Range Assassin will allow you to get more damage. I feel it is hard enough to get to 10 stacks, and once there your damage is already sufficient for most issues.

Exhilarating Takedown is stronger, but Out for Blood is more consistent, neither Longshot or Swap speeds are all that impressive so pick your poison.

Opening Salvo this gun lives and dies by the headshot/critshot if you are not getting at least one of those, you are doing literally negative damage. The extra crit for the first 5 shots feels quite nice, and the gun reloads fast enough to get the effect back on when needed.
Precision Strikes is better if you are confident in your ability to land headshots, and also increases melee WP damage.

Run Keep Their Head Down if you are using the Inf Autogun
