Welcome to my Veteran support build.
This build utilizes the shout ability "Voice of Command", with the revive keystone to save the team, for when the going gets tough.
I choose "Survivalist" as the aura, because at higher difficulties ammo can become scarce. This along with the increased elite spawns, makes it extremely valuable for the whole team.
I've also incorporated some keystones to bulk-up your melee weapon. I enjoy the "Antax Mk V Combat Axe" with the increased attack speed from "Trench Fighter Drill" along with "Brutal Momentum" blessing. This combo has good horde clear and nice damage for most elites. But you can use any other weapon you prefer.
For enemies at range i prefer to use the "Vraks Mk VII Headhunter Autogun" as it has good damage to deal with priority targets quickly while boasting a good ammo count/efficiency. You could also use the "Revolver", but the slower reload and ammo count makes it not as good as the other option. But just like with your melee weapon, just use any other ranged weapon that is to your liking. The goal for your ranged weapon, should be to deal with shooters and ranged elites.
As a support Veteran your goal is to stick with the team, so everyone can benefit from "Survivalist". Try not to pick up grenades as you get one for free every 60 seconds with "Demolition Stockpile". Always try to make sure you've used at least 1 grenade, so "Demolition Stockpile" is being used.
I prefer to wait with using my "Voice of Command" until a teammates goes down, or when I know for sure we are about to take a lot of damage. Essentially preventing the down from happening in the first place. However don't become too selfless, if "Voice of Command" can be used to prevent yourself from going down, use it!
Try to stay in the middle of your group or towards the back. Let the Ogryn's and/or Zealot's frontline, but stay close enough so you can reliably clear out ranged enemies for them.
Remember that "Field Improvisation" applies to everyone, it doesn't matter who puts down the medipack. Moreover let your team know, especially for assassination missions that Ammo Crates restores grenades, to have an easier time taking down the target.
Feel free to experiment with the build as much as you want and tailor it to your liking.
