Krazy German Doktor presents:

The Wise King Solomon

A Crowd Control Psyker build I've been running on Auric missions. Great compliment to a team consisting of 2 Psykers, an Ogryn/Zealot and Veteran. Designed to be tanky enough to stand with the Ogryn or Zealot on the front and support them with the crowd while also being able to turn around and deal with flanking specialists like Trappers or Flamers before your team succumbs to the heretics.

A few things to keep in mind if you follow this build:

  • Don't be afraid to use your Shield often. It's Toughness regen lets your Frontline bruiser stay in the fight longer, drawing aggro and letting your soulblaze thin the horde.
  • Brain Rupture, at the time of publishing, is not as viable as Assail, but is great at mowing down monstrosities with ease, especially if you have an Ogryn to draw aggro and tank with a shield.
  • You could swap out Kinetic Presence for Seer's Presence if you want a more support-oriented Psyker, but in my experience the damage bonus against Elites and Specialists justifies itself.

All of this can be edited to suit your own playstyle, but this is what's been working for me.
