Veteran
Hitting at least 3 enemies with an attack, increases your damage by 24-36% for 3 seconds.
14-20% Impact for 2 seconds on Repeated Hit. Stacks 5 times.
14-20 Critical Chance on Weak Spot Hit until your next Critical Hit. Stacks 5 times.
14-20% Strength on Salvo's First shot.
Grenade perks for Carapace with Krak Grenade, as with this build it really is your only solution to them.Deadshot consumes a bit of stamina, same with the Mk4 Devil's Claw Parry but both give pretty good return damage, so the Stamina Regen and Sprint Efficiency in Curios is to offset that, for when it matters. Duck and Dive is also a great source of free stamina regen. Determined just makes life alot easier vs Gunners/Reapers, the Vraks MK7 does much more damage per shot (especially with Precision Strikes) than a pesky Gunner can.Agile Engagement works well with any high damage semi-auto weapon, very easy to quick swap and one-shot something for the massive damage increase.Tactical Awareness, Bring it Down! and Superiority Complex seem like no brainers in any build to me.Further down the middle tree has great synergy with the Voice of Command combat ability, namely Iron Will and Confirmed Kill especially now it's got a tiny cooldown and insane stagger power.I personally don't like finishing a tree on Veteran, since there's no Keystone I feel like a short buff isn't as valuable as covering more bases for a more rounded build. Some classes/builds are better at dealing with certain things, but surviving is the team's job, and you therefore should basically always have a solution in any build to as many enemy types as possible. Unless you have a very carefully organised 4-person team composition with builds/roles to cover other team mate's weaknesses.I know at least 1 Wound is always pretty good, but I find that Iron Will and Voice of Command allow me to have control over making sure I'm always getting that damage reduction and I can instantly replenish my toughness if I cop too many hits in a bad situation, which somewhat eliminates the need for an extra Wound. That's why I run the 8-12% ability CDR. If you have a Psyker with the CDR aura, and it's a Maelstrom mission with the 20% ability CDR modifier, Tactical Awareness lets you use Voice of Command 4 times within 6 seconds sometimes because Specialist enemies are usually so plentiful and the Vraks7 is pretty good at quickly killing them. The Parry special function on the Mk4 Devil's Claw makes Ragers a bit of a joke and it is fairly spammable! It also makes tanking Monstrosities, and even Bosses more valuable for the team because you can return damage while blocking damage, helping to hold agro longer and whittle it down while your team deals with Horde/Elites/Specialists in the area. If you get completely surrounded by Horde, spam it to carve a path out while blocking in a 360 degree radius. It is also worth noting, you can Parry the heavy strikedown attacks from Maulers and Crushers! Though, this will drain alot of your stamina, use accordingly, and remember, you can just yell them into the dirt and run, if you're out of stamina!Hope this helps you have fun on Veteran as an all rounder soft support style class, and lot of this build is not set in stone at all, change to your preferences as you see fit.
