Versatile Ranged build utilising Trauma Staff to delete dense groups / disrupt armored enemies while spreading a ticking Soulblaze DoT whenever you crit.

 

Venting Shriek for even more crowd control and enable you to keep the explosions coming.

 

Deimos to help you deal with Mutants and single foes not worth charging your Trauma staff against.

 

Brain burst as a filler for boss damage and sniping anything your staff or your allies cant reach.

 

Pros:

  • High Stagger, can stagger everything aside from bosses (bully Crushers, Maulers & Ragers, disrupt Gunners/Reapers from firing, disrupt disablers - Dogs, Flamers/ Netters).
  • Clears hordes, recommend you use a chokepoint for best results.
  • Special Killing and non-zero boss damage in a pinch with Brain burst.
  • Soulblaze is particularly strong in Lights Out and Melee Only+No Ammo modifiers vs clumps of Armor.

Cons:

  • Succeptible to overhead melee hits from Crushers / Maulers you don't see coming.
  • Slow Staff charge up, and you should definitely charge up for maximum damage.
  • Enemies too spread out are a pain, use your staff primary.
  • SoulBlaze on its own takes awhile to kill.
