Core idea:

Use the combo of Scourge, Blazing Piety and Invocation of death to cast Chorus of Spiritual Fortitude as often as possible, trivializing dangerous situations while providing +toughness to the team.

Playstyle:

run around between your teammates helping them by peeling/buffing/ccing, and in between scouting/completing objectives with speed. Kill hordes with your melee weapon, kill specials/elites with a revolver, and use the Chorus/Immolation Grenades to turn the tide of any potentially dangerous encounter (multiple crushers, many ragers, muti hordes, etc.)

At its core this is a support build designed to set up 4s of uninterrupted stagger time + Invulnerability for the Psyker/Veteran to absolutely destroy the Rager/Crusher stack. Chorus has a big radius, so you can stagger Gunner/Shotgunner packs as well; knife+slide gives you the mobility to get in range if you can't when they come out. By the time Chorus's stagger is up (which is after it ends), almost everything threatening will be dead and you can help with the cleanup.

Weapons:

Melee: Combat Knife w/ Lacerate & Flesh Tearer. Lacerate helps get the Scourage buff up quicker and Flesh Tearer gets more out of your baseline 50% crit chance. Knife's bonus finesse damage makes great use of the crit chance this build affords.

Alternates:  Both Eviscerator and Chainsword w/ Shred are excellent with their cleave, doing more to clear hordes and melees than the knife.

Ranged: Either Revolver. They make fantastic use of your high critical hit chance and damage, and provide quick answers to specials, elites and even have enough armor pen (with hand cannon) to take out the odd crusher).

Alternates: If you want to make flamer work, go for it I guess? Revolvers are damn good.

Last Points/flexibility:

Are 5% damage, and sustained assault. You can also swap Righteous Warrior (+10% crit self) for Infectious Zeal if you want 5% crit for the team at the cost of uptime, or pick up 10% attack speed (though 10% crit will give you more crits/min). Benediction > Shield of Contempt + Aura of Purity, and Duelist+Desperation adds a lot of damage.

Other Notes: You can gain a lot of flexibility if you take knives (both in ranged weapon and in talent points), but Immolation grenade is higher impact and throwing -> Chorus stuns is a ton of damage. Plus you have to be able to knife things reliably (I cannot) and you're not getting them back as often.
