The small toughness rolls on the curios can be replaced with basically anything, but make sure you get toughness curios with gunner resistance and sniper resistance.  The melee weapon can be swapped out with the mkV shovel and it will use the same perks and blessings, you can also replace the confident strike blessing with thrust.  If you have a ranged weapon you like other than the rumbler, you can reallocate big boom and towering presence for get stuck in and bruiser.  If you do find a good mkV shovel, for single target damage do charged special attacks with it since the heavy pattern on it is just large cleaving strikes.  Make sure you are only killing horde with heavy attacks to keep your toughness up
