Divider

This build does literally everything all at once: horde clear, CC, debuffs, strong melee, strong any armor, anti-special, and even above average boss soloing:

 

  • Mettle allows you to regen in combat via crit spam (works on melee attacks).
  • -10% peril reduction allows you to cycle 5 fully charged shots before quelling, can only do 4 without them.
  • Assail fast horde clears and special clears much better than spamming Venting Shriek. Constant uptime, can kill snipers at max range, completely invalidates shotgunner waves. Actually Insane. If you really need Psykenetic's Aura, take Brain Burst to match the long-range anti-special and it's nodes, but you're going to wish you had the extra horde clear.
  • Telekine shield is so insanely strong, and gamebreaking strong in open maps. Nullifies bad positions, invalidates Nurgle boss, makes the team much tankier, teaches bad players where to stand.
  • All the block cost reduction+Kinetic  Deflection means you are literally invincible in melee combat defensively. Can block over 30 enemies while picking up downed teammates, can block 10 ragers while casually moving into safety, can tank all bosses and easily take 0 damage with skill.
  • Max crit chance and crit damage mk4 sword easily kills bosses with raw damage. What about Uncanny Strike? You do so much damage you don't care, and your staff is anti-armor. If you really care though, apply Rending via your staff with 2 uncharged right clicks; boom they are now Flak. Shred+Riposte is what gives you the insane boss DPS you need as a Psyker, who is typically powerless vs bosses. Rampage is also fine but why do you need more horde clear on your sword when you have a staff and Assail?
  • This build has a few extra points so you get to also take all the Toughness nodes and get a normally glass character all the way up to 123 Toughness with only 1 toughness curio. You can also run 2 toughness curios if you want, but over 120 is plenty generally.
