Basically sacrifices a good bit of Vet's offensive power for nearly every supportive node on the tree. The weapons and grenade aren't set in stone, this is just a default choice for versatility and good damage output.

Your job is basically to stay in coherency as much as possible, and generate boatloads of toughness for your teammates, while using your Voice of Command shout nearly off cooldown whenever you get a chance to make use of it:

  • Someone's running out of toughness? Shout
  • You or someone nearby is getting crowded by a large horde or has some ragers on them? Shout
  • Someone's been pounced by a dog? Shout
  • A horde is about to leave a dangerous AoE? Shout them back into it.
  • You're about to be hit by an overhead you can't dodge or block in time? Believe it or not, Shout.

Tag important enemies consistently to give your team extra damage against them, and to return even more toughness and stamina to your teammates.

Feel free to move points around, the main things to keep for that strong, supporty feel are Voice of Command and it's modifier Duty and Honour, and the Focus Target! keystone.

A brief little bit about the weapons:

Mk 6 Power Sword is incredibly versatile, once it has Power Cycler and Brutal Momentum blessings. It's thrives on getting both of these blessings, which allow it to single-handedly duel any enemy in the game. Use it's push attack into Light 3 combo chain while aiming at the head to kill basically everything, regardless of armour. For crowds, chain heavies or Light 1 into Heavy 2.

The Columnus Mk 5 is the best jack-of-all-trades gun right now. Just shoot things.

Choose either Krak Grenade or Frag grenade depending on your weapon loadout to compliment what you need. Krak is here for extra boss damage, Bulwark shields, and to deal with anything your gun can't, assuming you don't have the fantastic blessings for your power sword yet.

Use whatever melee and ranged combo you want, just choose a grenade that helps cover your weakness: Frag for crowds, and Krak for armour. Highly recommend a good defensive melee weapon if you're not going for the Mk 6 Power Sword, particularly a knife or the Mk 4 Catachan sword: Good crowd killing, and that parry is fantastic, letting you eat any hit without any damage and dealing a lot back, particularly against Crusher overheads and any monster hit that's not a grab.
