Higher difficulty provides plenty of opportunity to keep your soulblaze going since specials are almost always in the mix. Initiate Scrier's Gaze frequently, especially during hordes. Disrupt Destiny provides the finesse, crit, and weakspot damage the rapier loves, making you an effective meat grinder with light attacks. Tackle specials with heavy attacks to make quick work of 'em. Precognition and By crack of Bone help keep you in Scrier's Gaze longer with horde clearing light attacks to weakspots being very efficient at extending that SG duration. Rapier also provides the dodge and mobility to kite and pick off enemies if you find yourself getting overwhelmed.
Blitz is useful when trying to tackle specials out of reach, but pistol works just as well.
