updated Oct 18, after playing some more and trying different things.
I love this build for its available tools, ability to clear rooms, nuke bosses and be very resilient for a Psyker.
It’s basically made me a Psyker main rn.

- crit and weak spot multiplier is sexy af
Out: points for True Aim
In: spread around, but picking up available toughness nodes and TDR skills
- the toughness DR and additional toughness works well as I spend entirely too much time in melee, the imperiled cleave is a thing of beauty on the Deimos for chaff clear
- where melee gets hairy, I just blast a few assails, as psionics is usually stacked up and ready to go
- I don’t end up using anywhere near the amount of ammo that typical Gunker ammo gluttony use because of how effective this is in melee
- triple threat of toughness recovery: [on crit], [on kill] (if target has soul burn stacks), [on peril reduction] (ie, ranged crit or melee weak spot kill during scriers), so far has worked a charm. These can all happen at once, and happen ALL the time.
New patch talent added to Scrier's Gaze [ Warp unbound ] ---> Game changer Just go ham with assail when at 100% peril for 10s. Max Peril, max damage, max cleave, max fun.
Should be able to keep Scriers going until the CD is up again. Choose your own adventure on that, if you need more cd reduction, not hard to swap aura's -> [ Prescience ] for [ Seer's Presence ]

Well a little, maybe
Deimos,Force Sword : don't think to hard about it. The force push is great, better mobility than illisi. Force push stalls crushers/ragers etc and opens up bulwarks
- I use slaughterer as its very handy in that it buffs strength (and therefore cleave), and if I’m poking a mutant in the eye mid fight, I can sometimes 1 tap it with a light
- uncanny rending for flak and carapace
- +unyielding and +maniac modd to round it out for unarmored ‘armor’ types
Duelling sword is definitely viable, and benefits from the same things as above, but I rely on force push too much as I live in melee combat.

IE, do whatever keeps you alive. I've noticed that when I'm not looking in one direction for 5 seconds, a sniper hits me right in noggin (Sniper DMG reduction) OR, between fights I need to regen a bit of toughness before engaging again (Toughness Regen Speed)

1) Isn't Disrupt Destiny is the best for Gunker/Assail Psykers?
