Pretty straight forward build. The solution to most of your problems is to void blast.

Dueling Sword is your answer for charging mutants and monstrosities. Perilous Assault is to help with quickly swapping between staff and sword as needed in the middle of a horde to deal with mutants charging in.

Throw up Force Bubble as needed. Though remember you've got Kinetic Resonance, so if you've got the space and targets use the buff to pick off elites (prioritizing gunners) with BB and regain your spent warp charges.

Gear Choices:

  • DS MK4 : Specced for one-shotting Mutants with a charged Thrust Heavy and for chunking bosses. Everything else can be voidblasted into oblivion.
  • Voidblast (Formerly Trauma) Staff: Carapace and Flak cause I think Crushers and Maulers are the things I want dead the fastest close up. Warp Flurry to take advantage of all the peril cost reduction and spam voidblasts back to back and frequently. Rending Shockwave to help soften stuff up for yourself and the rest of your team.
  • Curios: Toughness across the board. You can take a Wound if you are starting out for the safety margin, but I think you'll quickly drop it in favour of toughness. Overloading yourself is tough with all the peril cost reductions and Battle Meditation. Damage wise you'll be really safe between force bubble, blowing stuff up, and knocking over everything that didn't get blown up.

    • CDR perk cause you want your bubble up as often as possible for gunners and for the continual toughness regen it provides.
    • SR cause I like being able to quickly recover stam after having to block or sprint.
    • ARS perk cause it brings revive time for a downed ally to 2.2 seconds. Which gives you the ability to create a window of opportunity to revive someone after dropping a voidblast.

That said, SR and ARS perk are really debatable and can be swapped out for personal preference.
