Talent Tree
Description
This build will let you rizz up Hadron and out-swag Swagger.
Brought to you by a level 5.000 veteran with at least 20 hours played!
As a rule of thumb, whether you are doing ranged or melee, you should aim for the head.
Smoke because it's the best vet grenade.
Devil's Claw Sword because it's fun (and strong, wow!)
Helbore Lasgun.
How to deal with the men in your life?
Big men
- Crusher: Charged head-shots, alternatively parry with sword.
- Bulwark: If facing away from you, charged shots, alternatively bayonet stabs. If facing you, parry with sword.
- Reaper: Charged head-shots
Strong men
- Mauler: Charged chest-shots, alternatively bayonet to the chest. If all else fails, parry with sword.
- Rager: Charged shots, bayonet. You can also successively parry every single attack from a rager's attack chain.
- Shotgunner: Charged shots, bayonet.
- Gunner: Charged shots. A smoke grenade that fell out of your pocket and landed at your feet also makes you immune to them.
Special men
- Trappers, dogs and flamers are all dumbfounded if you are inside your smoke screen. Shoot them or bayonet them.
- Sniper: Smoke grenade is the hardest counter. Also shoot them - charged chest-shot or regular head-shot.
- Mutant: I guess you could shoot them, but the bayonet is probably your fastest way of ridding Tertium of such abominations.
Regular men
- Ranged: Charged chest-shots or regular head-shots. You are also allowed to bayonet them. If there are many, then smoke.
- Melee: Charged chest-shots or regular head-shots. The God-Emperor will actually telepathically smile at you if you bayonet them.
- Horde: Can be shot, could be bayoneted. Your sword also has decent horde-clear if you repeat its heavy -> light combo.
Main characters
- Beast of Nurgle: Shoot it.
- Plague Ogryn: Shoot it, stab it, parry it.
- Chaos Spawn: You can parry every single attack it has except for the grab - you should probably dodge that one.
- Captain: Swing your sword and parry his attacks.
Also, if there are lesser enemies present while you are fighting a boss, you should get a smoke-sesh started where you're standing to become epic.
We pick Enhanced Target Priority in order to give our squad a chance to see out of our smoke. Also forget about keystones - all my homies hate the veteran keystones.
