Melee with Scriers is the bread and butter. Crits and kills regen toughness and prolong Scriers.
After Scriers ends, Warp Unbound allows you to throw out all Assails for high damage (Warp Rider, Malefic Momentum) and cleave up to 5 targets per shard (Warp Splitting, Ethereal Shards) for amazing horde clear. Also keeps peril at 100% which benefits cleave and damage when switching back to melee.
Revolver for ogryns/monsters. First shot guaranteed crit (True Aim) and Crucian Roulette adds crit chance for follow up shots (and Scriers adds 20% chance). Crits have 60% rending from Hand Cannon. Faster reload when below 75% peril.
For defense, Empathic Evasion, Anticipation, One with the Warp, Kinetic Deflection, Endurance.
Toughness Regen: Mettle restores 5% on every crit hit, which should be a lot in Scriers and with Shred + Riposte. After Scriers ends, Quietude passively restores toughness as peril quells.
Also, peril passively quelled on melee weakspot kills (By Crack of Bone) and all kills have 10% chance to quell peril (Battle Meditation).
Duelling Sword and Knife work great with this build.
