This build is meant for having fun, not being the meta.
If you enjoy running up to the enemy lines, and purging heresy at the source, this is for you.
Abuse the special attack and rev it up to kill light enemies for guaranteed crits thanks to lv 4 bloodthirsty, which allows you to charge up fury of the faithful (FotF), and rev it up (as well as FotF) allows you to get close to your enemies, provided you know how to dodge ranged attacks, if you don't, then consider picking up swift certainty.

When low on toughness, charge (with FotF) into the nearest small crowd, but you shouldn't be stupid about it.

You are not invincible, and though you can absolutely tank, you should not rely on your seven downs, but rather the damage that they add.
Keep an eye on until death, and never take it for granted.  That sort of carelessness will leave you on the ground in front of that one poxwalker you ignored.
Ranged weapons:
Any sort of gun can work, but what works the best?
Well, any long range or high fire rate weapon, especially those such as:

  • Stub revolvers
  • Infantry autoguns
  • Braced autoguns
  • Recon lasguns
  • Infantry lasguns
  • BOLTGUN

Or just any old gun lying around.  However I wouldn't recommend the flamer, as it's just a tad too unreliable for this.

The only weaknesses of this build are: Hounds/Trappers, Gunners, bombers, and flamers, all of which can be circumvented by good positioning or one FotF.
Have fun, and praise the Emperor!
