The Warp Crusader - Frontline rampaging melee pskyer
Playstyle - Aggressive melee focused combat, heavy damage and speed, good survivability.
1) Scrier's Gaze active at all times possible - keep near 100% peril whenever possible - Warp speed to keep up with even zealots and also to kite enemies when in clutch, can be replaced with warp unbound. Kinetic flayer can provide sudden damage and kills for large targets, can also triggered by soulblaze burning. Synergy with disrupt destiny. Ignore active use of blitz. Only use greatsword special attack if at 95% peril or lower. Warp splitting, warp rider, one with the warp and scrier's gaze all synergize.
2) Accatran Laspistol*, quickdraw to shoot accurately from the hip for repeat critical headshots, for use against specials, especially the trapper either close or far. Use as a surrogate for blades of faith. Critical stacking. Can be replaced by purgatus flame staff for soulblaze. Hit snipers from a distance and chain critical kill reapers very rapidly. Always aim for the head.
3) Health regeneration by soulbaze and souldrinker - perilous combustion, mettle and the great sword's blazing spirit* to induce soul blaze. During combat the speed, toughness damage reduction, increased attack speed and critical strikes can lead to massive DPS and health back from soul burning heretics. Quietude naturally restores toughness as peril subsides from the Scrier's gaze downtime.
*Blazing spirit is not meta but is specifically designed for health recovery and increased critical rate in this build.
*Laspistol is not meta but is specifically designed for quickly dispatching specials in this build without generating excess peril.
Stay close to the warp but remember the Emperor's light.
