Divider

This is primarily a melee build with ranged options. Scrier's Gaze should be up as often as possible. Anytime a fight starts, pop it. Horde clear with simple swings. Hit HP bags with your heavy strikedowns (particularly the second swing, as it's much more damaging). Once you've built up 100 peril, you have 3 options:

  1.  Do the warp slash if you've got it and there're specials to clear or you're low on toughness. This will clear packs of gunners and goes through walls.
  2. Take out the voidstrike staff and blast farther targets or wreck ogryn/mauler packs. Every shot will basically be a surge crit.
  3. Emergency Smite. It's always helpful to have a solid 10+ seconds of guaranteed stun on everything in the field.

You can always forego those options and choose to keep stabbing extra hard. Aim for weakspots as much as you can. You should be able to take down a Crusher on damnation with 1 or two heavy strikedowns to the head.

 

This build is a glass cannon focused on dodging. If you don't dodge, you will go down very, very quickly. So... you know... pay attention. Slide a lot. Once you've got the hang of it, I've run it successfully in Auric damnation, and I'm not particularly good at melee.
