5-8 Bleed Stacks on Critical Hit.
45-60% Finesse Damage for 2s on successful Dodge.
10% Critical Chance for every 0.3-0.45 second while aiming. Stacks 10 times. Discharges all stacks upon firing.
Chaining Charged Attacks reduces their Charge Time by -12--6%. Stacks 5 times.
This build excels at taking down units large and small with one-two crit headshots from afar without consuming much ammo if at all. You can 2-shot crushers with critical headshots and 1-shot ogryn gunners with a headshot. It also does really good boss damage when aiming for the weakspot. In a target rich environment, charge your helbore to max and fire immediately aiming for heads - do not try to optimize wait time for the surgical blessing; the crit chance it gives you in the time it takes you to charge is usually good enough.
You must rely on your knife (mobility), directional slide dodging, grenade, and ability to peel for yourself - in this way you can establish brief opportunities to fire off a volley of shots even amidst a horde.
Flexibility:
Unless you want more boss damage, I wouldn't really invest much more in ranged damage as you'll already hit single critical headshot breakpoints on all enemies except crushers (and ofc bosses). It's not really possible to kill crushers reliably with a single critical headshot with the helbore, even if you take every ranged damage node, Executioner's Stance, and +25% damage against crushers - at least not alone.
