One of my more favored builds on Psyker, a sudo Gyker build that really just runs around throwing Assail at everything and hitting stuff with the greatsword. Spamming lights on the Greatsword VIII is great for when assail is 'on CD', and doing a push attack into a heavy does great damage to armor, allowing you to 1 shot most things while 3 shotting Crushers/Maulers with a push attack into two follow up heavies. This covers all your bases, with an Infantry Autogun for some pretty good Unyeilding damage to make up the difference, while also being able to shoot at range for when your assail falls short/you need to gun down a few more elites for Malefic and Empowerment Stacks.Other than that, slap up a bubble, then throw infinite assails until everything is dead. I usually tend to stop once my peril reaches around 80-90 just so I don't get to overzealous, then either swap to the greatsword for further clear if a lot is left or the autogun with bonus damage from Malefic to nuke anything 'big ish' that's still standing. I ignore Perilous Combustion as it doesn't really help to much when things either 'die to the next assail I throw or don't', and instead just make the Infantry Autogun feel better with Surety of Arms, and grab Psychic Leech because this is the only assail build that has enough free points to use it (thanks to not needing Empathic Evasion due to Bubble, that also being why I go 'full crit' on the Greatsword verses having Deflector), and shoving a constant 20% toughness into yourself and your allies as you nuke the entire wave is amusing.
