Killing an enemy by firing both barrels makes your next Reload 40-70% faster.
A more damage heavy variant of the build Canary uses for the Double-Barreled shotgun, will emulate what I said there. That was deeply surprised at how effective that build is, this one in particular I think is my more 'favored' of the two. It's a lot more damage focused, trading out specialist for focus and then using the points saved from doing so to grab invis instead of smokes, and running around with Hunter's Resolve for bonus DR. Then taking the extra grenade a step further with Frag's so as to allow for many room clear grenades when needed. It's a bit more out in the open, as you need invis to deal with gunners verses being able to completely ignore them with smokes, but you still get all the crit you need and then some (trading a crit every 2-3 kills for scattershot crits with reciprocity and the crit node), and get the reload speed from both barrels instead, while said frags make up for the loss of manstopper. Overall it's a different variant, but a fun variant, and still very effective, to the point I'd call it and the other build some of the best possible builds a Vet has open to them. The other build I feel focuses more on the pairing of the Duelling Sword with the Double Barrel Shot gun and letting them both shine in their respective moments, while this one focuses on making both of them HURT while not having to swap between them nearly as much. Different strokes for different desires depending on the day really. Also took the liberty (since One Motion isn't needed here) to move the 'out for blood' pip into Catch a Breath, and used the save point to grab Rending Strikes, 'completing' the build in my eyes since whenever things get one you, you just invis, reset your toughness regen, then go back in.
