Be Vivacious. Wait for choke points and large groups. blast everything. Thin hordes and when Elites/Specials are bunched up in the hordes then delete. You should be back line most of the time. Use grenades liberally.

Feel free to swap Krak Grenade to Smoke Grenade if you feel like you're seeing a lot of ranged seeds. Smoke gets massive value in H40 gunner games. (5/12/26 - with less Crushers and more gunners in general, Smoke Grenade has the most value it's had in awhile.)

Personally like Scandar Mk III Power Sword for when I can't shoot my gun.

5/12/26 - Scandar Mk III Power Sword is by and large best weapon for Vet with Uncanny Strike changes but Maccabian Mk IV Duelling Sword is still very strong Uncanny or not.

Grenadier is 50/50 for me. Feel free to swap it out for more guaranteed damage.

Otherwise this is super bread and butter playing: get headshots, delete specials, thin hordes, focus bosses, spam your ult to keep your team alive.

This isn't going to be an "instant delete make H40 trivial build." It's a mix of getting the job done and having fun like how I want to have fun after 1000s of hours in Tide games.
