This isn't meta. Lots of people don't like having stealth teammates. Boo, I say.
I really dont see the problem with stealth. Giving more enemies to your teammates is a good thing. I like fighting more things, don't we all? A stealth vet is the least intrusive playstyle for your teammates gameplay.
Smoke grenades aren't ideal, but they're not the worst. They buy you time and options for repositioning. And they eliminate the need for more grenade regen. Its also really cool to charge into a smoke grenade and kill things.
Terrifying barrage is fun. And extends the duration of your infiltrate suppression. Nice to have against reapers too. It forces enemies to stop shooting you if they're close. Otherwise just duck into cover like everyone else.
Braced gun is a good tool for melee gameplay loops. It staggers.
Its nice, i have the option of just tossing a smoke to cut off shooters so the teamcan focus on dealing with the horde, and/or go and infiltrate them while they are disabled thanks to terrifying barrage and can't fight back. Gunners over there? Alright cool, ill just get into melee with them real quick.
I will hear no slander about this shovel. It can kill anything, and now with serrated blade being doubled, its surprisingly good. If only more weapons had access to mercy killer...
My revives are also unmatched.
Bottom line, this is cool. Vet has always felt like this game's "rogue" and I think this archetype really makes good sense. Although I still think it needs buffs and tweaking in some places.
