 Psyker Build - Warhammer 40k: Darktide 

Want a thematic psychic desperado build that leads auric damnation damage charts? 
Want to feel like a slick-shooter as you fan multiple Disrupt Destiny targets and use the Agripinaa Mk XIV Quickdraw Stub Revolver to potentially 2-shot chargers?

Yeehaw I got just the build.

This started as a joke, but has become one of my favorite auric builds. 
 

GAMEPLAY

This is a build that rewards balance. You want to consistently hot swap between Assail , your Deimos Mk IV Blaze Force Sword, and your Agripinaa Mk XIV Quickdraw Stub Revolver to maintain Malefic Momentum stacks as often as possible. 

We also want to pepper in assail at all times to keep our peril elevated. This is important to benifit from the normal nodes like Warp Rider and One with the Warp, but more specifically Warp Splitting. Warp Splitting helps our assail puncture 4-5 targets instead of 2-3, increases our revolver's penetration from 2 to 4 so we can effectively pick elites out of crowds, and of course improves our melee horde clear, so take a moment to throw an assail or 2 even in the thick of melee for peril and +25% malefic momentum damage. 

True Aim is one of the best nodes we have to boost our our overall assail and revolver crit changes. Slice some heads to build 5 stacks, then pull out the revolver and fan fire into an armored enemy's head. First shot will be a guarantee crit, then the next shot is at a 36%, then a 42%, 48%, and a 54% for the 5th round getting you 3 of 5 rounds critting on average. 2 revolver crits to the head with 10+ Disrupt Destiny  stacks (along a mix of other damage bonus's) will drop a charger. Not as consistant as I would love, but it feels awesome when you can kill 2 of them in a salvo. 

Venting Shriek is just great overall utility to create space when swarmed, clear peril if needed, gain a quick 50% toughness back via Quietude , and softening up mobs. 

WEAKNESSES: 

You are squishy even with all the toughness curios, and that is what holds this build back from higher level Havoc's. Couldn't find a way around this.

Your crits are strong, but don't crit frequently enough to maximize use from Empathic Evasion . You could swap in Telekine Shield, but thematically I didn't have the heart, and personally find it a bit too easy to suffer perils spamming assail. Scrier's Gaze also fell flat with the revolver as you couldn't lean into Tranquility Through Slaughter to quell, and any gains made were lost to Surety of Arms (which again I couldn't thematically leave out of a psychic desperado build). I would often end up leaving Scriers after 6-8 seconds without active quelling, and would need to invest into By Crack of Bone somehow to have a hope of extending it. It's cool for meme burst boss damage, but without Psykinetic's Aura to cut down the time, it was difficult to perfectly time 6-8 seconds of burst damage, vs the consistency and flexibility of Venting Shriek.
