5-8% Strength for 4.5s on Kill. Stacks 5 times.
14-20% Strength for 5s when every pellet in a shot hits the same enemy.
Increased Cleave on Critical Hit and gain 10-25% Ranged Attack Stagger.

In this guide I’m going to be going over the build I had the most success with, in Havoc 40 Duo-Trio-Quads.
I’ll try to keep the explanations short. If you need to ask anything just dm me on Discord. My name is Hamdolsun in official Darktide Discord server.
MELEE WEAPON: Crusher
Combos:
Light 1 -> Block cancel -> repeat
Fastest horde clear combo. Easy to pull of when you get used to it. Not too good into mixed hordes but clears trash.
Light 1 -> Heavy 2 -> repeat
One of the main horde clear combos. Use it when you need to regain stamina.
Push Attack -> Heavy 2 -> repeat
Strongest horde clear combo. Lets you use the increased cleave on Push for extra cleave. Use it as much as you can.
Push Attack -> Light 2 (overhead) -> repeat
Best single target combo. Use it on any occasion to kill elites - bosses.
Heavy 1 -> Block Cancel -> repeat
Strongest carapace killer after PA L2. Use when regaining stamina.
Power up -> L1 -> repeat
For denser mixed crowds to promote safety while dealing damage.
Experiment with the attacks yourself to figure everything out.

Crusher was chosen because of it’s delicious blessing pool and powerful push attack / horde clear combos.
Flak-Unyielding to have an easier time vs a majority of the enemies.
Skullcrusher because it is the strongest blessing in the game. Concussive makes sure it procs even on unstaggered targets with a headshot. +80% damage increase for you and your team on any target is overpowered.
Slaughterer because this weapon is very decent at hordeclear. This makes your hordeclear stronger while increasing single target dmg by a meaningful amount. Only requirement is killing stuff, and you won’t run out of things to kill in Havoc 40.
RANGED WEAPON: Agripinaa Combat Shotgun.
Since the class lacks infinite cleave, this is a very strong horde mulcher - elite killer with basic shells, and infinite range sniper - stagger tool with slugs.
Load a slug whenever you can for a quick hit to proc Full Bore.
Slugs are great for staggering elites, dealing damage to enemies at any distance, conserving ammo, chunking bosses with headshots, one shotting specials.
Basic shots are great for specials who closed the distance, cleaning hordes, shooting important targets behind mass, magdumping to save your life.
Flak-Maniac for one shot bps (slug headshots and overall damage increase after slugging)
Full Bore because it procs on a slug shot. Near constant %20 power increase.
Manstopper because we have %31 crit chance with this class. Manstopper makes your weapon cleave WAY higher, allowing your slugs to turn into railgun shots + allowing basic shotgun shells to mulch hordes/deal damage and kill the special hiding behind mass. Escepially useful when magdumping. Lets you kill multiple elite packs/gunner packs in a couple of shots.
ABILITY: Castigator’s Stance
Literal panic button. %100 toughness and %80 DR on use is crazy. You use it if you are in one of the situations below:
1- Your toughness is dangerously low and you need a way out.
2- Gunners are hard focusing you.
3- Monster pressure is high so you need to reposition.
4- About to engage a dangerous crowd.
5- Demonhost is trying to eat you.
6- Burster/sniper/crusher overhead about to get you.
Use your ability. Boom, back to %100, and you can’t die for 10 seconds. Reposition, clean up. Recharge ability for another situation.
CURIOS: 1x HP / 2x Toughness
With the perks mentioned above, you’ll reach 140+ Toughness in Havoc 40 while maintaining a decent health pool.
Gunner resist for helping you survive the peskiest enemies in the game (Reapers/gunners)
Stamina Regen for regenning stamina as you’ll be push attacking a LOT.
Toughness for extra Toughness. Duh.
