This is meant to be a light overview and not a full on play guide. Much like Oppenheimer, I fear what I am about to release on the Darktide Community. This build has the extreme power and flexibility to become a favorite for high tier players, but notable weaknesses that, if not played around, can drastically reduce the capabilities of the build. And that biggest weakness is ammo consumption. If you load into a game w/ multiple people using this build, run, as that match will be dryer on ammo than a desert at noon. That being said, the general function of this build is to spray into groups of enemies. Killing even one enemy will increase the weapons strength, which is Damage, Impact, and most importantly for us, Cleave. When you make a kill w/ Execution Orders, you generate so much damage and rending that you can spray into a group of Crushers and Mauler, Carapace enemies, and cut right through them like a knife through butter. Castigator Stance is great for when there's danger close and you just aren't quite ready to engage but you're getting engaged. Getting one Elite or Specialist kill will give you the damage and ammo to push through the rest of the encounter. The Maul and Shield is a great fall back weapon, as this isn't a melee focused build, but this melee weapon can keep you safe when your gun is down or low on ammo. You could easily trade out the blessings to make it much more aggressive, but running it like this is a great way to familiarize yourself with what shoot outs you can win and which ones you'll need to back from. That's all I really have to say. Please use this wisely and responsibly.
